Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host for the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002, has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina began her career in with nuclear energy policy and budgets of the White House. Though she initially found it interesting, she soon stopped her interest. She then bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. Prior to selling the company the store, she worked for more than 18 years building it to the most successful shop.
