Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). She grew up in an artist family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the arts. Her first job was as a photo assistant later moved into modeling and acting. She was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actor. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the globe after just three movies. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
